Microblading

What is Microblading?

Microblading is a permanent cosmetic treatment where we tattoo fine eyebrows hairs onto your face using a hand tool with tiny blades. The implanted pigment in the upper region of the dermis simulates the appearance of natural hair.

Microblading is meant to be a natural enhancement, and create a fuller brow look. Client who already have semi full brow hair will see the best results and just want to perfect their shape. The more hair you have, more natural it will appear.

At PhoenixBrowz Studio we offer free consultations to our new and existing clients. During the consultation we will discuss any questions or concerns, review shapes, and even pick out colors for your upcoming procedure!

What should I know about permanent makeup procedures in general?

Although Permanent makeup is a commitment, it will save you time and money in the long run. Ombre powder brows last 2-3 years on average and Microblading last 1-2 years on average.

With the newest techniques and products on the market, permanent makeup has improved tremendously from the 80s where the famous "sharpie brows" were born. Modern technology has enhanced the needles we use on our clients and vary based on procedures, skin type, and matureness of the skin. Microblading is a treatment where we tattoo fine eyebrows hairs onto your face using a hand tool with tiny blades. Two sessions are highly recommended as most client won’t see their desired color result with only one session. Especially for corrective work. Touch-ups can be schedule between 8 - 10 weeks.

You are required to be at least 18 years old in order to receive the treatment. We do not recommend permanent makeup procedures including eyebrow Microblading while breastfeeding or during pregnancy.

Microblading VS Ombre Powder Brows

Microblading is the process of implanting pigment into the skin simulate the appearance of natural hair. Microblading is meant to be a natural enhancement and creates the full brow look. Microblading looks most natural if you already have beautiful, semi full brow hair, and are wanting to perfect their shape. The more hair you have the more natural it will appear. Ombre Powder brow DOES NOT add hair strokes. Ombre Powder is a shading technique that is darker at the tails and lighter at the front. The final healed result is powdered filled brows similar to the look of makeup. Our signature soft, misty fronts create a natural and subtle look.

Which technique should I choose?

Ombre Powder Brows:

- Have oily/combo skin type

- Does not have much natural hair

- Wears makeup

Microblading:

- Have dry/normal skin type

- Already have semi-full brow

- Very natural look
